Automotive lifts have been designed with a variety of uses in mind. Some cars are smaller and elevators for smaller vehicles, ideal for small repairs and storage in home garages. Larger units for heavy-duty repair workshops have been created for professionals and other applications where they are constantly in use. Here are some models that can be considered.

Systems on the ground is a favorite of major repair of automobiles and other professionals who need space while working with these systems. The cars may remain in the lifts overnight if necessary, and with the elevator at ground level, is released as much space as possible. Businesses also use these systems, and to avoid having vehicles damaged due to lack of space. Unfortunately, this style of car lift also comes with a price to match.
Mechanical car lifts look very similar to the hydraulic style previously discussed under the hydraulic systems. Instead of liquid pumps and cylinders, mechanical systems use screws, padlocks, screws, wrenches and the suspension of a vehicle. Since these drives do not cost a lot more than hydraulic versions, this is a rare find in the automotive industry.
Auto Lifts for specific uses
Smaller shops that need to store more than one vehicle often used to save space elevator car. These will store a vehicle at the top and allow a second vehicle with mere inches below spare.
